  • Accelerating digital health initiatives

    The recent hackathon in Colombia with the Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social brought together 15 attendees from various Ministry teams to prototype interoperability for an Interoperable Clinical Record. Leveraging HL7 FHIR standards on Microsoft’s Azure Health Data Services, the teams developed a proof of concept for the Ministry’s digital care record model and identified areas for future growth. This event highlighted the potential of AI applications in enhancing digital health initiatives.

  • Enhancing child safety with AI

    Our recent hackathon with INTERPOL showcased the power of AI technology to enhance child safety and investigative capabilities. 45 participants from 12 countries and 34 organizations collaborated to develop tools for analyzing text content and checking dark web content against databases, documenting 80% of a codebase with Copilot in just two hours.

  • Developing practical apps programs and technologies to support our most vulnerable communities

    This hackathon in New South Wales, Australia united 39 frontline workers from 30 organizations, including educators, clinicians, and social workers, to develop AI-driven solutions supporting vulnerable communities. Eight teams collaborated virtually for a week, culminating in a “Demo Day” where innovative solutions were presented. The winning solution automated medication requisition and audit processes, reducing clinicians’ workload and stress.

  • Leveraging AI to boost productivity, enhance citizen satisfaction and cost savings

    Our recent AI hackathon in the Czech Republic with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs brought together 55 participants from various ministry teams. They tackled six high-impact AI and Analytics use cases, including AI-Assisted Requalification and Labor Market ML Model Integration.

  • Using AI to help make fire departments more effective and efficient

    At the Technology International Summit in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, we hosted a successful hackathon with the International Association of Fire Chiefs where 64 firefighters from 20 different states engaged in a hands-on session using Microsoft Copilot. They learned about practical AI applications to enhance fire department efficiency. During the session, they were coached on using Copilot for tasks such as incident report triaging, radio traffic summarizing, and policy drafting, demonstrating the potential of AI to revolutionize their operations.
